☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆

A comfortable stay for up to 8 guests is all but guaranteed thanks to the four spacious bedrooms. There are two bedrooms on each level, all of which feature original wood floors, fireplace mantles, and soaring ceilings. Both upstairs bedrooms feature comfy queen-sized beds with memory foam mattresses and small vanity tables that can double as desks for anyone who needs to get some work done during their stay.

One of the downstairs bedrooms has another queen-sized bed, and the final bedroom boasts a full-size bed and a twin-size daybed with a trundle. If you have additional guests, there is also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room & roll-away available upon request. 

Please note that if you are traveling as a larger group, there is another unit available that also sleeps 8. Feel free to book both units simultaneously to accommodate up to 16 guests.

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆

There is one bathroom on each level, so no need to worry about taking the stairs when duty calls. Both bathrooms have shower/tub combos and are stocked with fresh towels and hair dryers. If you need to do laundry during your stay there is a separate laundry room on the second floor.

☆☆ KITCHEN & LOUNGE ☆☆

The home is conveniently located near some of New Orleans’s best bars and restaurants, but if you feel like cooking during your stay the full kitchen has all the essential cookware, dishes, and utensils you’ll need. Highlights include a deep stainless steel sink, sleek granite countertops, and of course, a full-size coffee machine to start your mornings off right.

The lounge is situated at the front of the home and greets you with soaring 14’ ceilings and original 100-year-old brickwork as you enter the house. This cozy area is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day of exploring the Big Easy. Sink into one of the comfy couches and flip through channels on the 55” flat-screen TV or get some work done at the desk.

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆

The spacious outdoor area is one of the highlights of the home. Your entire group can use this semi-private* space for yard games, BB Qing on the charcoal grill, or taking Insta-worthy group pics along the window fence. There are also two back patios off the kitchen and upper level - perfect for enjoying your morning coffee!

When you’re ready to explore the town, you’ll find you’re within walking distance from local attractions, including the red line street car, the French Quarter, Superdome, and downtown.

Guest Access and Experience
Guests will have private access to the entire property, including the fenced backyard area. This unit has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. If you have more people in your group, there is another unit available for an additional 8 guests. Please inquire for more details.

We have keyless entry, so there’s no need to worry about keeping track of the keys! Free street parking is available outside the home.

Please note that this home’s layout may be a bit different than what you’re used to. This bedroom arrangement gives you some unique New Orleans flavor - it’s what we call a “shotgun, camel-back”, with a second floor only half as long as the first floor, forming the camel’s back. Each room comes after the first in succession. Enjoy an authentic Big Easy experience!

The minimum booking age is 21.

PET FEES: Fee for first dog is INCLUDED in the rate if you marked it in your booking. Additional fee of $50 per dog is NOT included and will be charged separately after booking.

Prior to arrival, I will send you check-in instructions.  They will include the door code.  No having to meet at a specified time for check-in!  You arrive when you get here - and you have access immediately!
I am on call should you have any questions or anything breaks, etc.  I always leave a phone number for another member of my staff if I am out of town.  And I always respond to Air BNB messages quickly.

Location and Transportation
Centrally located without being in the middle of everything.  Several billion dollars of new construction hospitals have gone up 5 blocks away.

The neighborhood is mixed-income.  If this is your first time in New Orleans or don't know how to handle yourself in an urban non-tourist area, maybe reconsider.  However, if you know that you don't need to walk down every dark alley and know the major roads, you will have no problem.

$1.25 and 10 minutes from my home to the French Quarter by street car.
$5-15 and 5 minutes by Uber to get back.
Flat rate cab rides or Uber from Airport.
Short drive or bike ride to Mid- City restaurants and shopping.
